Purging the database is only necessary whenever it becomes very large and filled with outdated or expired data. This may be indicated by MyCourts running sluggishly.
 
Purging the database will delete all expired or cancelled bookings as well as optimize and compact the database.
 
We strongly recommend you backup your database prior to Purging as historical booking data will be lost.
 
Purging does not affect any POS or accounting data.
