Groups and Facilities

This window allows you to customize the Groups and Facilities as well as their respective descriptive names for each facility that you offer for hire.

 

These names will be included in all screen windows as well as printed receipts and reports.

 

1 . CloseClose


Click to close this window. If there have been any changes, you will be prompted to Save them before the window closes.

 

2 . SaveSave


Click to Save your changes.

 

You can also click the 'Tick' box in the bottom of the navigation window to save your changes to either the Group or Facility depending on which window pane you are in.

 

3 . GroupsGroups


This pane allows you to create and configure up to 20 different Groups that allow you to group individual facilities you have to hire.

 

You may Group facilities any way you like, eg by Location, Quality, Type etc. Only one facility however can belong to one Group although you can add as many facilities to a Group that you find practical.

 

4 . Grouping PanelGrouping Panel


This panel appears in almost all the grid type windows and allows you to Group items that are contained within that window. This allows you to quickly "drill-down" or view only the data you wish to concentrate on.

 

Note: This has nothing to do with "'Groups" that we are currently defining. This pane is universal to almost all grid windows.

5 . Display OrderDisplay Order


Use this column to specify the display order of the various Group Tabs that will appear at the bottom of the Main Window.

 

These numbers need not be specific ie 1,2,3,4,5 etc . MyCourts will merely sort them in the order listed here.

6 . Navigation BarNavigation Bar

Navigation Bar

The Navigation Bar is standard to many windows and should be familiar to you as it uses the same format as many Windows based programs.

 

 

7 . FacilitiesFacilities


The Facilities pane allows you to manage your facilities.

8 . Facility GroupFacility Group


As you edit your Groups in the above frame and save them, the changes will be reflected here.

 

Chose the Group to which the facility is to belong here.

9 . VisibleVisible


As the Column Name implies, the setting in this cell will determine whether the facility is able to be viewed within MyCourts.

 

The default value is Yes and hence the 'tick'.

 

To change this to 'No' just double click within the cell.

 

Note: If the number of facilities you configure exceeds the number of licences you hold for MyCourts, this field will automatically be set to Not Visible.

10 . PublishPublish


Similar to the Visible option however Publish refers to whether the facility (or indeed the Group - see above) will be available for viewing on the Web pages generated by MyCourts.

 

In the above example we have chosen not to Publish the Meeting Rooms facility. To change this to 'Yes' then just click within the cell.
